Start Up Space Deadline Extended

The application deadline for Startup Space at SATShow 2027 has been extended to September 4 at 11:59 PM. If you’ve been on the fence, now is the time.

Now in its 11th year, Startup Space is where the next generation of satellite companies makes its case. Each year, a select group of startups takes the stage in the Unveiled Theater at Walter E. Washington Convention Center to pitch directly to an audience of investors, senior executives, and industry decision-makers gathered for SATShow Week.

Ten finalists will be selected to compete live — judged by a panel of investors and executives in one of the few moments at SATShow Week where the whole room is focused on the same thing. The grand prize package includes guaranteed investor meetings, industry event access, professional services from partners across the sector, and featured media coverage through Via Satellite and SATShow Week’s platforms.

Past winners include LeoLabs, TrustPoint, Orbit Fab, and most recently SatEnlight — companies that have gone on to secure funding, launch products, and build businesses across the satellite industry.

To qualify, companies must be independently owned early-stage startups seeking funding — no subsidiaries, nonprofits, or government divisions.

Applications are open now. The deadline to apply is September 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Finalists will be announced in the fall.
