Brenden Swanik
Revenue Operations Manager, Voyager Technologies
Founder & Host, Chasing Space Podcast
Brenden Swanik is a Washington, D.C. local with a deep passion for the space industry. He is the Revenue Operations Manager at Voyager Technologies and the Founder & Host of the Chasing Space podcast – and was named a Via Satellite Rising Star in 2025.
At Voyager, Brenden directly supports the Chief Strategy Officer, helping to create and implement forward-leaning initiatives across the enterprise. Previously, he served as the lead Mission Manager for Satellite Deployments, where he oversaw the launch of more than 40 spacecraft.
Driven by a passion for communicating space to a wider audience, he founded Chasing Space, which reached over 10,000 listeners across 75 nations in its first year alone.
As a newcomer eager to learn more about the space industry, particularly the small satellite ecosystem, SATShow was the perfect first step. At the time, my role was heavily focused on the entire satellite value chain, including launchers, component providers, and implementation partners. Attending the show provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with all of these key players in one place.
What I find most valuable about SATShow is the convergence of so many facets of the industry in one place. It’s an unparalleled opportunity for in-person collaboration. While many of us connect online, there’s nothing like being able to sit down with partners, suppliers, and clients to discuss a project and see the technology firsthand on the show floor.
It’s the perfect environment for making new connections, strengthening existing relationships, and gaining a comprehensive view of the industry’s direction.
I’m most excited about seeing the tangible results of the industry’s recent growth. The small satellite sector, in particular, has seen incredible progress in the past year. I’m looking forward to walking the floor and seeing what new technologies and solutions have emerged since last year.
For first-time attendees, I’d say come prepared to be amazed. The sheer scale and innovation on display are incredible. Don’t be afraid to strike up conversations, ask questions, and explore every corner of the exhibit floor.
One of my favorite memories from last year was the unexpected connections I made. I met individuals who had been in the industry for decades, and their willingness to share their experiences and insights was invaluable. It’s a testament to the collaborative spirit of this community.
✨ Look for Brenden at SATShow 2026, and don’t miss the chance to connect with a true Rising Star in the space industry!
