Plan Your Trip

Hello to our SATShow Community! We hope you are enjoying your summer.

SATShow’s 2027 “Call for Speakers” campaign for the conference program ended this past week. I’m thrilled to report that we received more than 375 applications to speak on our SATELLITE, GovMilSpace, Young Professional, and Tech Seminar programs. That’s the most we’ve seen in the past six years. We will continue to accept Startup Space applications through the first week of September, so we encourage entrepreneurs to get those applications in.

We are now well underway in the process of evaluating those applications. One common question that we receive during this process is – What’s the difference between the “SATELLITE” and “GovMilSpace” conference programs?

GovMilSpace and SATELLITE are both dedicated tracks of the overall SATShow Week conference program. GovMilSpace focuses on satellite and space technologies along the entire supply chain that support U.S. and allied military and government missions around the world. What makes GovMilSpace so important is that it brings senior government and military representatives together with their commercial suppliers in a collaboration to make sure that the U.S. and its allies have the tools needed to succeed in their mission. These sessions focus on connectivity for the warfighter, lightning-fast space-based data to speed up critical decision-making, security for space assets, space policy, cybersecurity, and more.

SATELLITE is the conference track dedicated to satellite and space-based services for the enterprise and consumer connectivity markets, as well as strengthening business along the satellite supply chain, including satellite builders, integrators, launchers, ground systems suppliers, service suppliers and resellers. These sessions provide deep-dive intelligence on satellite markets, service pricing, and future investments – designed for both customers interested in investing in satellite services, as well as satellite industry professionals looking for intel. Additionally, it’s the place where news about our industry is made! It is the preferred track of journalists and analysts covering our industry.

I hope this clears up the defining roles of each of our conference tracks. We take pride in crafting timely and valuable sessions for our SATELLITE and GovMilSpace tracks. Stay tuned for our first speaker announcements coming in the next month. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Hill
