Interested in Speaking at SATShow Week?

One of the most unique and important qualities of SATELLITE x GovMilSpace is that the focus of the event is determined by our community. Every summer, we put out a “Call For Proposals” (CFP), allowing anyone interested in speaking during SATShow Week to submit their ideas for conference topics, sessions, and presentations. We then spend the rest of the summer reading and evaluating the hundreds of proposals we receive, shaping our conference around the ideas you share with us.

The team and I are super excited to announce that we have opened our 2026 conference CFP window. We invite all potential panel or keynote speakers interested in either the SATELLITE and/or GovMilSpace programs to submit your applications online. Submissions will be collected through August 8 and reviewed through September.

In the CFP portal, you will notice mentions of a new addition to the program. By popular demand, we are bringing back and enhancing our high-level technical program. SATShow 2026 will mark the launch of our Tech Seminar – three days of in-depth presentations covering breakthrough research and development efforts to advance satellite and space technologies and products! Those who are interested in presenting their work during the Tech Seminar may apply through the CFP. You will be prompted for details about your presentation and required support materials.

Finally, we are also accepting applications for the 10th annual Startup Space Entrepreneur Pitch Contest! Global space and satellite entrepreneurs with companies seeking seed or series A funding and employ less than 100 people are qualified to apply. This is a very special year for us, as we hit the 10-year anniversary. In addition to selecting 10 new startup competitors, we will be honoring more than 100 entrepreneurs and companies that have participated in the competition since its inception in 2016. Details on prizes will be announced shortly! 

Launching the CFP and Startup Space application is one of the most important steps in our SATELLITE x GovMilSpace preparation process, and we have a lot of work to do in just 10 months. We will keep you updated on all new developments!
