The Walter E. Washington Convention Center has been outfitted with a robust suite of health and safety tools to safeguard all individuals in the building. New safety equipment includes Kogniz and Certify, both thermal scanner systems to monitor temperature, FujiTec Ionful, an air purification system and NanoSeptic, a self-cleaning of high touch point surfaces. Walter E. Washington Convention Center has secured GBAC STAR™ facility accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC)®, a Division of ISSA. The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is the first convention center in the northeast corridor to achieve this accreditation for preeminent cleaning, disinfection and infection prevention strategies.
At Freeman, the health and safety of our teams, our customers and the wider community in which we work is our highest priority. Freeman has moved forward in implementing the health and hygiene protocols designed to keep our people, and our customers, safe.
